player stay in any pvp game is because the pvp game is fun, not because of hundreds of fake money, if there are even hundreds of fake money, it may satisfy the pve side, but not in pvp, pvp is another story....game no fun, people move on.

However in the game when a bunch of people are looking for a party there is this little problem.
"You do not look any different"

ok got it now ?

They cannot tell you are a god amongst pvp players and don't want some newbie annoying you.

Hence my suggestion that you go join all the other experienced players in one room while the new players go to another.

Unless of course you aim is to create your experienced group and have lots of easy wins against new players ? in which case shame on you.
Usually people advertise groups with a certain rank requirement. Don't be ridiclous and say that the problem with pvp was inexperienced players were joining high exp groups accidentally and then got booted right away. Nope.

Your suggestion would invite all the griefers from all around the world so that's a bad idea.

The inflated sense of entitlement that exists in many (not all) new participants is because of the ridiculous state that pve has become and how sterile it is. They've 123'd their way to stacks and stacks of ectos, so they have it in their heads they should be able to breeze their way through pvp as well with all their worldly pve experience. The skill level needed with pvp is more demanding than pve, not because GW pvp is particularly difficult or anything, but the skill level to succeed in pve has simply plummeted that much.

I know many pvpers I play & have played with are reluctant to accept new blood first-hand because of past experience; the new person had thrown massive tantrums because we didn't win the game, we're not the best of the best either so also expected way too much. Those lot were a single digit minority, but these things can leave a very bitter aftertaste that some people just don't want to go through again.

Fair enough if you are advertising what you require for the game that is reasonable and if some idiot tries to join serves them right.
I am not sure how forcing good players to play against good players and inexperienced players to play against same is a bad idea.

To take your situation there you are trying to get a group together and you have know real idea if the other people around you are suitable or not.
If however every person in that area had a certain pvp rank then your situation is a little better isn't it.

If I as a new player just having installed the game come to play some form of pvp, I don't wander around asking everyone what some rank term means and asking other dumb questions.
Because everyone is in the same boat.

Anyway I am done I think a league system would benefit the community. some agree some do not, either way I can almost see GW2 on the horizon so its a moot point.

In principle, some kind of league system would certainly be nice. In practice, with the current level of population? After the honeymoon period, it's going to result in even less matches.
